Tournaments
Americano - A popular round-robin format
-
In this tournament every participant plays with all other participants.
-
You gather points for yourself by winning games during each match.
-
The teams change every match.
-
A match lasts for a predefined number of points e.g 16, 24 or 32.
-
Each game won gives you and your partner a point.
-
The winning player is the one who has got the most points.

Team Americano
The same format as above but instead of competing individually you stay in your prearranged pair
Mexicano

-
A lottery decides who you play with and against in your first game.
-
From your second game it is the score of the other matches that decide your next game.
-
The pitting of the games depends completely on the current results on the leaderboard. Number 1 and 3 plays against 2 and 4. 5 and 7 playes against 6 and 8 and so on.
-
Once the table has settled after a few rounds, the matches will be even. The better you play, the more difficult the opposition and vice versa.
-
The scoring and pitting system of the mexicano means that you can play with and against the same player several times.
-
Each match is played for a certain amount of points, e.g 16, 24, 32
-
Each game won gives the team a point
-
Once all balls have been played the score is entered and then transferred to the individual players. If a 24 point match finishes 10-14; player 1 and 2 gets 10 points each. Player 3 and 4 gets 14 points each
